Aerice Augments Risk Capabilities - with Appointment of Daniel Geoghegan as Global Head of Risk & Compliance
Specialist London-based management consultancy Aerice announces
the appointment of Daniel Geoghegan as its new Global Head of Risk
& Compliance. This moves further extends Aerice's
specialisation in risk and compliance-based consultancy,
complementing its existing Business and IT Transformation
offerings. Daniel has over 13 years' dedicated risk
management experience, joining Aerice from Deutsche Bank, where he
was previously working in the Risk Chief Operating Office and also
as Global Head of Market Risk Operations.
Aerice director Stuart Owers comments:"Efficient risk management
is a critical issue for every financial institution, and there are
many factors that make implementation especially challenging at the
current time - from the increased amount of regulation and
government interaction they are facing, to the increased amounts of
operational risk in the marketplace. Implementing the
right solution is fundamental to ensuring long-term sustainability
- with the costs of adopting a short-term fix representing simply
too high a risk. Daniel's expertise perfectly complements our
long-standing track record for high profile risk and compliance
projects. We are delighted to welcome him in to the
Aerice team, enabling us to fulfil the high demand for expert risk
services."
Aerice's holistic risk framework and change management focus
covers all the key areas, across Credit Risk, Market Risk,
Liquidity Risk, and Operational Risk, as well as Regulation and
Government, Legal and Compliance. Global Head of Risk
& Compliance, Daniel Geoghegan, elaborates: "The key to
successful risk management strategies lies in the creation of a
transparent, accountable and above all efficient risk
framework. Aerice has worked extensively within risk
departments at leading organisations, gaining an outstanding
reputation for delivering a best practice approach. For
financial institutions, the future is only going to become more
complex in terms of the risk factors they have to cater for.
From our point of view, we are extending our solution set to
provide the most comprehensive set of services - incorporating
Basel III & CRD3 & 4 requirements and external audit
remediation, as well as budget allocation and prioritisation
through to change management to achieve strategic implementation
and goals."
Aerice has successfully completed risk and compliance projects
for a wide cross-section of leading organisations, including
Barclays Bank, Brown Brothers Harriman and Deutsche Bank.
